By accessing or using POOKOO Logistics services, including our website, vendor portal, and delivery services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
2. Services Description
POOKOO Logistics provides logistics and delivery services across Nepal, including:
- Same-day delivery within Kathmandu Valley
- Nationwide parcel delivery
- Cash on Delivery (COD) collection and settlement
- Vendor portal for shipment management
- Real-time tracking services
3. Vendor Registration
To use our vendor services, you must register for an account by providing accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.
4. Shipping Terms
Prohibited Items
The following items are prohibited from shipping:
- Illegal substances and contraband
- Weapons and explosives
- Hazardous materials
- Perishable goods (without prior arrangement)
- Live animals
- Currency and negotiable instruments
- Items prohibited by Nepal law
Packaging Requirements
Vendors are responsible for proper packaging of items. POOKOO Logistics is not liable for damage resulting from inadequate packaging.
5. Pricing and Payments
Delivery charges are calculated based on destination zones and package weight. Current pricing is available on our platform and may be updated from time to time. COD collections are settled according to our settlement schedule, typically within 3-5 business days after successful delivery.
6. Delivery Terms
- Delivery timeframes are estimates and not guarantees
- We will make up to 3 delivery attempts before returning packages
- Recipients must provide valid identification for certain deliveries
- Delivery confirmation may be obtained through signature or photo proof
7. Liability Limitations
POOKOO Logistics liability for lost or damaged items is limited to the declared value of the shipment, up to a maximum amount as specified in our insurance policy. We are not liable for:
- Delays caused by force majeure events
- Incorrect addresses provided by vendors
- Items not properly declared or packaged
- Consequential or indirect damages
8. Claims Process
Claims for lost or damaged shipments must be filed within 7 days of the expected delivery date. Claims must include shipment details, proof of value, and documentation of damage where applicable.
9. Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or pose a risk to our operations. Vendors may close their accounts by contacting our support team.
10. Intellectual Property
All content on our website and platform, including logos, trademarks, and software, is the property of POOKOO Logistics and is protected by intellectual property laws.
11. Privacy
Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and use your information.
12. Modifications
We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms. Material changes will be communicated via email or platform notification.
13. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Nepal. Any disputes shall be resolved through arbitration in Kathmandu, Nepal.
